Favorite and not so Favorite Things

So I haven't quite figured out this blogging thing perfectly yet, so the pictures are a bit out of order. Everyday Ellie is growing and learning so much. She just had her 4 month check-up a week ago, and she hasn't started to slow down yet. At 26.25 inches, she's the length of an average 9 month old, but the weight of an average 5 month old, so she's still tall and skinny. She had more shots at this appointment, but as soon as Jared picked her up, she calmed right down and flashed me a huge gummy grin. She's sleeping better every night, waking up a little less and a little later , and she's slowly getting into a more and more predictable nap schedule.

Doesn't she look so big in her highchair? She's not starting solids for a couple more months, but she loves sitting up high in the kitchen where she can watch everything.

This picture above is not one of Ellie's favorite things. This was while she had her first fever. She wasn't too fussy, just rosy cheeked and a little extra cuddly.

Here's Ellie in her Bumbo (Thanks again Humberts!). She loves to sit up like a big girl and play with toys.

We took Ellie to the Pumpkin show, and can't you tell how much she loved it? The picture didn't quite capture her scowl.

Here she is with Jared. Don't you love her hat...? I went shopping for one too early in the season and there weren't any her size...so I made her this one.

Ellie loves her Exer-saucer. Her Favorite thing to do in this is to knaw on the edge of the seat. She kept on head butting the toys for a while and I couldn't figure out why she kept on falling forward, until I realized what she was aiming for. Thanks Watkins for letting Ellie borrow this (I promise I'll clean it really well before we return it ;)

But how she loves to be naked.

She's doesn't just like to grab her feet anymore. She wants to eat 'em! But only when she's mostly naked or when we're changing her diaper.

Ellie doesn't know yet that her blood runs Cougar Blue, but for now she loves the Buckeyes! Here she is in her Halloween Costume. She makes a pretty cute cheerleader, don't you think?
